Simon is the partner who heads up our Social Housing Litigation Team.

He specialises in all contentious areas of social housing law and is an experienced commercial litigator. Simon often works on complex cases involving homelessness, anti-social behaviour, injunctive relief and judicial review. He acts for a considerable number of Local Authority and Housing Association clients across England and he leads frequent seminars and training for our social housing clients and for various Police forces across the country.

Simon is top ranked in Chambers Legal Directory. A prominent client says: “He takes the case and he owns it. We don’t feel as if we have to chase up with him on anything and I feel confident whenever he advises us.” He is also an accredited CEDR Commercial Mediator and has been a Solicitor Advocate since 1998, enabling him to appear in the Higher Courts.

He is a member of the Solicitors Association of Higher Court Advocates and the Social Housing Law Association. He has contributed to the Journal of Housing Law and Solicitors Journal and is a frequent contributor on housing related issues to LBC Radio.

I enjoy reading, travelling and theatre.
