The latest ban on evictions was meant to end on 31 March 2021. However, evictions of both business tenants and residential tenants have been extended until at least May 31 2021. There are still exceptions where evictions will be allowed where the grounds of possession are substantial rent arrears and anti-social behaviour grounds. There are some other exceptions and also remedies available to landlords which remain available.
