Pension
The Firm operates a qualifying pension scheme which is available to you to join through a tax efficient salary sacrifice scheme. Under this scheme you agree to sacrifice part of your salary in return for a contribution to a pension scheme by the firm on your behalf, the mechanism for this is to reduce your taxable salary by the amount of employee contribution you make. If you are in agreement with the salary sacrifice scheme, the amount will be deducted from your salary. In return the firm will also contribute monthly to your pension. The firm’s contribution to your pension will, as a result of the salary sacrifice scheme, be exempt from tax deductions and national insurance contributions. A salary sacrifice for pension purposes will only apply whilst you are an active member of the firm’s pension scheme. Whilst a member of the salary sacrifice arrangement your taxable pay will be less than you gross salary by the amount of your pension contribution. Further information regarding the scheme benefits and rules can be obtained from the Chief Executive Officer. Activation of this salary sacrifice scheme will result in a contractual change to your taxable salary.
Life Insurance
You will receive from the Starting Date Life Assurance. The standard rate is 4 x basic salary.
Car Parking
The Firm has 11 parking spaces in Waterside and 11 spaces at All Saints Church. The parking at Waterside is allocated to Fee Earners only. As and when spaces become available these will be allocated as appropriate.
Eye Test
The Firm will pay for your eye test upon receipt of a receipt from an optician.
Contribution towards Glasses
The Firm will pay £50.00 towards a new pair of glasses (sunglasses excluded) upon receipt of a receipt from an optician.
Discount on personal work matter
The Firm carries the following discount relating to personal work matters:-
· After 2 years continuous service [10%] discount.
· After 3 years continuous service [15%] discount.
· After 4 years continuous service [20%] discount.
· After 5 years continuous service [25%] discount.
· After 6 years continuous service [30%] discount.
· After 7 years continuous service [40%] discount.
· After 8 years continuous service [50%] discount.
· After 9 years continuous service [60%] discount.
· After 10 years continuous service [70%] discount.
· After 11 years continuous service [80%] discount.
· After 12 years continuous service [90%] discount.
· After 13 years continuous service [100%] discount.
Flu Vaccinations
During the winter months, the Firm will pay for the flu vaccination (which is between £10.00 and £25.00) and which is available from your local pharmacy on production of a receipt. Vaccinations done privately will not be eligible for a refund.
