Background

Jeremy qualified as a solicitor in 1991 and spent his entire legal working career in the City of London prior to joining Perrin Myddelton in 2017.

He is a commercial litigation lawyer with a broad practice, many claims having a commercial property angle. Jeremy has extensive experience of property damage, product liability and discrimination claims and a particular interest in professional negligence claims. He has considerable experience of claims relating to financial investments and he has also developed a strong track record defending discrimination claims against schools, colleges and universities. In addition, he has many years’ experience of dealing with claims with an insurance angle and regularly advises on policy coverage issues.

He is an experienced and effective negotiator often participating in mediations, where he has achieved cost effective settlements for clients.

Interests

Jeremy is interested in expanding his general knowledge and enjoys participating in quizzes. He also enjoys regular visits to the theatre and, in particular, musicals.
